If the content of a quotation is comprised of three major elements (Items, Totals and Text) then its appearance is determined through line-by-line presentation of the information contained within the text and data fields of the various line types. MQuote capability enables precision editing of all line types to modify and refine quote appearance. |
|
The layout and appearance of a quote or tender prepared using MQuote is defined using templates. When you create a new quote for a customer MQuote uses either a default template or the one specified for that customer. Other templates may be used in order to give a different 'view' on the quote. In this way it is easy to produce a well formatted quote for the customer, and also produce a summary for internal use. You have full control over the appearance - choice of fonts, colour, headers and footers, inclusion of images for company logo or illustration of products, paragraph frames, etc. Items appear within a table. You have the choice of column alignment, background cell colours, cell and table borders, control over numeric formats, and so on.>/p> |

In fact, more or less anything that would be expected of a decent word processor can be accomplished through the template editor using an easy WYSIWYG interface. This means that professional looking quotes can be created every time without further effort. |
